On my vacation in May I had time to read another book I would like to recommend. It is
"Verborgene Universen. Eine Reise in den extradimensionalen Raum
" from Lisa Randall (ISBN: 3100628055), the english original is named
"Warped Passages. Unraveling the Mysteries of the Universe's Hidden Dimensions".
This book is a
must have if you are interested in physics.
Another book I read was
"Lotus Notes Developers's toolbox. Tips for Rapid and Successful Deployment" from Mark Elliott (
ISBN: 0132214482). Mark Elliott starts by explaining the basics for Notes/Domino Developers: DesignElements, Formula and LotusScript. If you are new to developing web-applications with Domino you will find a chapter focused on that area (reserved $$-fields, WebQuery-agents, ...). The second part of the book is a collection of projects you may face in real world plus, showing how to solve these problems with Notes.
I think the first part of the book is addressing the very beginners, not worth reading for people who have been working with Domino Designer before. I am also missing any word on JavaScript and Java which may be relevant to people new to Domino but working with Java before. The second part of the book is a good exercise (or use the solution as toolbox) for Domino Developers and a tough challenge for beginners as it even covers repeating calendar entries in a selfmade calendar application.
